  2. Why would we want to? We ought to follow the clear teaching of the Scriptures, not arcane interpretations of hypothetical covenants. There is a reason the 1689 Baptist confession differs from the Westminster. From where I sit, the Federal Vision looks like another road back to Rome and hence is antithetical to the Reformation and biblical Calvinism.
