CanonWIRED has posted several KJV related videos over the past year, which are linked below for those just tuning in. One of the common arguments against using the KJV (over something like the NIV), is that the English is “outdated.”
It may not be as outdated as we think.

Lotteries are not really taxes on math-impaired folks, because that assumes validity of the idea of probability (over against predestination). Maybe more accurately said: “Lotteries are taxes on people who don’t want God’s direct blessing.” They are presuming He’ll help them win by making others lose.
